How to Make Static Balls for your Dryer
Weather you are looking to save money or ran out of dryer sheets this morning, here is a cheap solution to remove the static from your clothes. Grab a couple sheets of aluminum foil (about a foot long) and crumple them into small balls. Now toss them into your dryer and you are done.
I was skeptical of the aluminum foil balls, but they worked out well. After doing several loads of laundry with the static free balls and using no dryer sheets or fabric softener, most of my clothes came out static free. Once and awhile I would have a sweater or fleece pjs come out with a little static, but overall they did help. I now use the balls on a regular basis.
